The Lititz Rotary Club recognized Nico Tocci as Student of the Month at their regular meeting on April 26, 2022, held at the Lititz Springs Inn & Spa.  Nico, a Warwick High School senior, is the son of Maria and Pat Tocci.

Nico is a Warwick Senior, an excellent student and outstanding athlete.  He has been on the distinguished honor roll the last three years and was on the Honor Roll before then.  Nico received recognition as a 3-time Lancaster Lebanon League All-Academic, a Pennsylvania Wrestling Coaches Association (PWCA) All-Academic and received a United States Marine Corp (USMC) Character and Leadership Award.

Through hard work practicing, training and competing in national events, Nico has made continuous improvement and this year achieved outstanding results as a member of the Warwick wrestling team.  Wrestling at 113/120 lbs., he earned an all-around record of 40 – 6, placed 1st in the Sectional Tournament, 2nd at Districts and placed 8th in the State tournament. When not training and competing Nico enjoys assisting with the Warwick Youth Wrestling program

His performance in scholastic wrestling competition and his work in off season tournaments earned him recognition from the United States Air Force Academy wrestling coaches, who offered him a scholarship.  He will enter the Air Force Academy in July of this year and begin the process of becoming a member of their wrestling team.  At this point, Nico is uncertain of the specific area of study he will pursue at the Academy but has an interest in cybersecurity and pilot school for drones.  In the long term, he would like to continue to serve our country and is considering a career with the FBI or CIA.
