The Lititz Rotary Club recognized Ryan Fink as Student of the Month at their regular meeting on March 22, 2022, held at the Lititz Springs Inn & Spa. Ryan, a Warwick High School senior, is the son of Signe and Steve Fink.
Ryan is an academic achiever and has demonstrated academic excellence during his time at Warwick by earning recognition on the Honor Roll or Distinguished Honor Roll each semester. He also earned membership in the Business Honor Society.
To exemplify the Rotary value of “Service Above Self”, Ryan is a volunteer at Warwick’s PALS, Peers Assisting Learning Support, a student-run organization which pairs classmates with and without special needs in an assortment of group activities - including bowling and other outings. He is also a volunteer with UNITE, a Warwick service club which plans and hosts Warwick’s annual Mini-THON.
Extra-Curricular Activities for Ryan include participation in Student Council and Men in Business. Additionally, he is a member of Future Business Leaders of America, an educational association of student members preparing for careers in business or who are just simply interested in learning more about the free enterprise system.
Ryan is an outstanding athlete. A four year varsity member, he served as Captain of and played small forward for Warwick’s championship basketball team. He was also a 2 year varsity player on Warwick’s championship football team. Ryan also participated for two years on the Unified Track team. He enjoys volunteering to assist younger football and basketball players learn and develop their athletic skills.
His experiences include being a Teaching Assistant for Mr. Landis and participating in Open Campus at Bonfield Elementary. Ryan has also worked at Giant.
Ryan will attend Lebanon Valley College and major in Early Childhood Education. He also expects to continue playing football.
