The Lititz Rotary Club recognized Ethan Zipko as Student of the Month at their regular meeting on November 15, 2022, held at the Lititz Springs Inn & Spa.  Ethan is a Warwick High School senior and the son of Lisa and Brian Zipko.  

Ethan is an academic achiever and has demonstrated academic excellence during his time at Warwick by earning recognition as a member of the National Honor Society, earning designation on the Distinguished Honor Roll each year, and ranking academically in the top 10 of his class.  He has also been recognized with an honorable mention at the North Museum Science and Engineering Fair and earned a runner up award in Material Sciences at the Warwick Science Fair.  Ethan has also been recognized as a Scholar Athlete with the Warwick Football team and is a three-time member of the All-Academic Team Gold for football.

In addition to academic excellence, Ethan is an outstanding athlete.  He plays center and is captain on the football team as well as being a first baseman and pitcher for the Warwick baseball team.  Ethan is grateful that he and his teammates have been able to compete at a championship level.  

To exemplify the Rotary value of “Service Above Self”, Ethan is involved with youth football and baseball and has helped coach and teach skills to players in both sports.  He has also helped coach youth league flag football.  When not involved in sports, he is a tutor. As a member of the National Honor Society, Ethan has supported the community by visiting retirement homes, helping to make and distribute meals during Thanksgiving and providing presents for children during Christmas. In the summer he often works on his grandparents New Jersey farm, does landscaping. 

Ethan has a strong interest in photography and astronomy. He hopes to develop skills as an astro-photographer. After graduating from Warwick, he expects to study meteorology.
